Cheryl Wynne

Cheryl-WynneCheryl is a seasoned and skilled financial professional who began her career in public accounting at Ernst and Young and has held roles of increasing responsibility over the last 22 years. Serving in senior finance positions for the past 10 years, she was most recently Controller and then CFO at Bsquare Corporation, a small public tech company. Cheryl has worked in a variety of other industries, including retail at Nordstrom, and at non-profit organizations with missions related to organ donation, land conservation, and affordable housing. 

As a result of her diverse background, Cheryl is a versatile professional who can meet a range of needs, from basic accounting to strategic planning. She is particularly skilled at producing financial reporting that easily conveys the intended message and facilitates decision-making. Collaborating with executives, Boards, and other audiences within an organization, she excels at utilizing financial data to support improved business outcomes.

Having served at several small to mid-sized organizations, Cheryl has had the opportunity to expand her areas of functional knowledge to include HR, business intelligence, and IT. As a deeply curious person, she has been drawn to and enjoyed these opportunities for professional growth and development. 

Cheryl holds a Master of Accountancy and earned her CPA license (currently inactive) in 2002. She was the volunteer Treasurer for Seattle Insight Meditation Society for three years and is currently the volunteer scheduler for Rainier District Little League, serving over 500 kids in the south Seattle area. In her free time, Cheryl loves to dance, read, and spend time with her husband, two kids, and four cats.
